GIBSON PAINTED MAPLE CUSTOM (1987): EC, custom finished in creamy white with Pelham Blue bursted neck and resonator back, double ivoroid-b-w bound resonator, maple neck (we looked), ivoroid-bound 22-fret ebony fingerboard with hearts and flowers inlays, 1-1/4" nut width, 26-3/8" scale, one-piece flange, 20-hole flathead tone ring, dual coordinator rods, five geared tuners with pearloid buttons, ebony headstock overlay with fancy pearl inlays and pearl "Gibson" inlay, nickel hardware, railroad spikes installed at frets 7, 9 and 10, "GIBSON MASTERTONE" label reads "Custom Built for - Ray French - Nov. 5, 1987", basically this is an Earl Scruggs model with a custom finish, on consignment, with OHSC (blue lining) (SN:1987-005)
